What program does one use to make skins such as yours?

You can use Photoshop which is the most powerful version, but comes at a cost. There's almost gimp which is a freeware version of Photoshop, but has less features.

I have photoshop CS2, but I have no idea how to make 3d models like that!

So skins can be mde in photoshop, but how would I apply to a model? Do I use another program. I am just curious. I would love to learn how to do this

Save the skin / change the import path in the world editor the the units path

Go to some websites wat taught me like Www.hiveworkshop.com (Check there forums)

basically a skin is a picture that is set over a model useing an UV WRAP which is basically tells the skin what parts to cut off and paste where. If you wana make a skin for a premade model simply open the mdl in War3modeleditor (get at hive) and go to textures, export, save as .jpg
Dl Gimp (www.Gimp.org i think) Have fun, Save it, Open your new .jpg skin in war3modeleditor
go to textures, export it in .blp format take the filepath of the origional texture units/bla/bla/ect.blp and place it on the "customfilepath" under import manager on your skin.
Restart world editor and enjoy
